From June 15 to September 15, thousands of butterflies fill the valley, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Outside of this period, the valley remains a beautiful natural park, perfect for a peaceful walk surrounded by lush greenery, small rivers, and wooden benches for rest.
Next, explore Filerimos Mountain, where the highlight is the famous Great Cross. From this vantage point, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of northern Rhodes, including the city and coastline – a perfect spot for photos and to soak in the scenery. Afterwards, you may visit the Monastery of Panagia Filerimos (entry not included), a serene historical site with rich local tradition.
